Red Sonja is a powerful sorceress and she guards her domains carefully. She has important magical rituals harnessing the ley lines in the area to advance her quest for ultimate power, and travelers usually know better than to risk Sonja’s wrath by stepping foot in her woods.

Usually. However, the barbarian chieftain and the warrior woman adventuring party don’t have such caution. They are used to dealing with whatever challenges get in their way, and they don’t like taking detours.
