Ama Rio returns from a mission to commiserate with her BFF Lora Cross. They are both spies, you see, and Ama was on a risky mission. She just got fucked up! She got ganged up on her stomach; she feels like it got bruised on the inside.

“How did they know that was your weakness?” Lora Cross asks, pretending to be innocent. She’s not.

“I don’t know,” Ama replies. “That’s a very specific thing for them to know… someone must have told them.”
